The Process

How to adopt from The House of Neva.

Our process is intentional. We place a small number of kittens each year, and every match is built on conversation and trust.

  1. 1

    Inquiry form

You reach out through our contact form. We respond personally — never with a template.

  2. 2

    Initial conversation

We ask to talk to all families who are interested in our cats. Obviously, it has to be a fit for the both of us. Feel free to contact us after you have submitted the form online. We love to talk about our cats and hear about your situation as well. We invite conversations about your home, lifestyle, children, other pets, and what you're hoping for in a Siberian. It matters to us!

  3. 3

    Match discussion

Together we identify the Neva Masquerade that is the right fit — and discuss color, temperament, and pairing.

  4. 4

    Reservation list & deposit

If we're a match, you join our small reservation list with one non-refundable deposit of $500 toward a current or upcoming litter. This is applied towards the final kitten price of $2,500. The remaining balance is due prior to picking your kitten up.

  5. 5

    Weekly litter updates

Photos, videos, and personal updates as your kitten grows — weeks 1 through 12.

  6. 6

    Kitten matching

Around 6–8 weeks, once personalities have emerged, we discuss the litter together and select the right kitten for your family.

  7. 7

    Go-home preparation

We help you prepare your home, food, litter setup, and first-night plan — and answer every question.

  8. 8

    Pickup or delivery

Kittens go home after 12 weeks — never earlier. Pickup, in-cabin flight nanny, or white-glove delivery options are discussed individually.

  9. 9

    Lifetime support

We are here for the life of your cat — questions, milestones, photos, advice. Always.

Lifetime return policy

If you are ever unable to keep your House of Neva kitten, you agree to contact us first. We will always accept the return of one of our kittens or assist with appropriate rehoming. Our cats should never be surrendered and especially to a shelter, rescue, pet store, or even a third party. You must agree to contact us first.

Two-kitten families

Siberians are an extremely social and interactive breed and many naturally thrive with a feline companion. We offer a small discount for families taking two kittens together. We place same-sex pairs only, on a first-come, first-serve basis or we require the female to be spayed which we will accommodate after a further discussion. Please inquire about availability and additional information. The health and well-being of our kittens will always come first.
