The Breed

About Siberians.

An extraordinary breed known for affectionate personalities, intelligence, and deep connection with their families.

Siberian cats are an extraordinary breed known for their affectionate personalities, intelligence, and deep connection with their families. They are incredibly social cats that truly enjoy being part of everyday life. Many Siberians will greet you at the door, follow you throughout the house, curl up beside you at night, and always seem to want to be involved in whatever you are doing.

These cats are playful, interactive, and highly intelligent. Many enjoy games like fetch, learn routines quickly, and love exploring their surroundings. Siberians are naturally curious and known for their athletic ability, strong jumping skills, and playful energy well into adulthood.

Originating from the forests of Russia, the Siberian Forest Cat is a natural breed developed to withstand harsh climates. Their powerful body, strong bone structure, and thick triple-layer coat helped them survive cold Russian winters for generations.

Siberians are considered a slow-maturing breed and may take up to five years to fully mature.

Many people with cat sensitivities also report fewer allergic reactions around Siberians compared to other breeds. Although no cat is completely hypoallergenic, Siberians are often considered a preferred breed for some allergy sufferers.
